Instructor - Chelsea Wood
Miss Chelsea Wood’s love of dance started at the age of three and has grown exponentially every year since then. Deciding to dedicate her life to what she loved, she took a leap and headed to Hollywood, California. There she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Theater from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), where Chelsea was exposed to art, in all of its forms, and studied under some of LA’s and NY’s best: Donylle Jones, Tiffany Billings, Alexis Carra, Lisa Hopkins, Louis Jones, Chryssie Whitehead and Tracy Silver.
Her extensive exposure to musical theater, acting, singing and various dance genres allowed her to seamlessly move into a successful career as a dance company member, choreographer and teacher. In between traveling for dance, Chelsea shares her expertise and passion with her hometown studio as their Lead Company Teacher. Since her return back home, the studio has earned national and regional titles, multiple choreography awards and other prestigious titles. Chelsea’s motivation to keep creating is inspired by watching her students grow as they realize their own creative potential.
